Audition Information
INSTRUCTIONS:
*Everyone needs to learn the Chorus audition cut below.
In addition to the Chorus cut, you may learn as many of these character cuts as you would like, but plan to audition on the part that you want the most. That does not mean you will not be considered for other parts, but you might not get to sing for every part that you’re interested in.
The cuts are marked on the posted music with where to “START” and “STOP”.

You will audition with a karaoke track.

#7 - CLOSE EVERY DOOR: mm. 5-28
NARRATOR
#1 - PROLOGUE: mm. 3-20
#2 - JACOB AND SONS: mm. 10-25
If you are auditioning for the Narrator, you need to be prepared to sing the PROLOGUE cut and the JACOB & SONS cut. You might not end up singing both cuts in the audition, but please be prepared to sing both.
Because you have two cuts to prepare, you do not need to learn the chorus audition cut, but you sure can

If you are auditioning for Joseph, you need to be prepared to sing the CLOSE EVERY DOOR cut and the PHARAOH’S DREAM EXPLAINED cut as you will sing both in the audition.
