Audition Information
*Everyone needs to learn the Chorus audition cut below (except for those auditioning for Kira and Sonny because they have two cuts to learn).
In addition to the Chorus cut, you may learn as many of these character cuts as you would like, but plan to audition on the part that you want the most. That does not mean you will not be considered for other parts, but you might not get to sing for every part that you’re interested in.
The cuts are marked on the posted music with where to “START” and “STOP”.

#1 - “I’m Alive” mm. 6-25 (sing all solo lines, melody the whole time)

#12 - “Suspended in Time” mm. 18-42
#10 - “Fool” mm. 5-24
If you are auditioning for Kira, you need to be prepared to sing the SUSPENDED IN TIME cut and the FOOL cut. Everyone will have to sing SUSPENDED IN TIME. Only some will be asked to sing FOOL, but be prepared just in case.
Because you have two cuts to prepare, you do not need to learn the chorus audition cut.

If you are auditioning for Sonny, you need to be prepared to sing THE FALL cut and the DON’T WALK AWAY cut. Everyone will have to sing THE FALL. Only some will be asked to sing DON’T WALK AWAY, but be prepared just in case.
